Now my sequences just say "There are no compatible devices on your account." under smart device. I checked for outages, but it shows there are no current outages. All the devices are still listed in my Smart Life app and are working there. On the linked services page, my Smart Life account shows as linked and clicking the refresh button updates the Last Refreshed date/time.

I have a number of SONOFF Basic Smart switches. A number of them do not appear in the Smart Device list Dropdown. I have tried to unlink and relink the SONOFF service but they still do not appear. Any ideas?

Hello, i have connected SEQUEmatic with my Tuya/Smart Life, there i have smart outlet and smart bulb. I am setting up a Zabbix monitoring of these devices and i would like to get the state of the device (on/off) by a webhook. Hi there. I have this secuence. I'm using a NFC tag to turn on/off a smart bulb usign the phone. Everything works fine but my phone browsers opens the url so I have to close it manually each time to avoid a lot of unusefull tabs. Is there a way to call the webhook without opening the page or close it automatically?Thanks.

On the odd occasion when a sequence triggers a smart device and it is offline, an error message is logged. My question is, is there a way to trap this error condition in a sequence in order to send an email?

Hi, I have some sequence that wait for some time of delay passed with paramete using webhook. Sometimes after the time of waiting, the sequence wait for days instead making the next step. Is a problem on logic of my sequence? I have noticed which if I run again the sequence, create another instance but this stops at some point again. Maybe the problem is on running multiple times? I think an app would be really useful. Not so much for programming, or reading/changing values, which can be easily done in a web browser. But widgets...now there in an interesting thing. If you could create a widget that displays a variable value, or better still, a programmable display widget that shows a number of different variable values, possibly in a number of different formats (colour ranges, circular value indicators, shapes, etc) then you have a way or creating a phone display th

so, i'm trying to create some sequences that will randomly turn lights on and off when i'm away from home. so, after sunset, i set the whole thing going. so far so good. For the last 5 days or so any sequence which calls an IFTTT applet returns ‘error’ in the sequence log. I have refreshed my IFTTT key and updated the setting in Sequematic but still no luck. IFTTT shows no activity for the relevant applets so I assume the webhook call isn’t reaching their server. Is anyone else having this problem?

Any time I link my Philips Hue account, everything shows up fine. However, after a day or two, only Philips Hue device groups show up and all sequences using individual Hue devices stop working until I disconnect and reconnect my account (refreshing does not work). Any ideas?

I set up my first sequence today and used the "talk to SEQUEmatic" command on my google home to run the sequence. It all worked perfectly and I have many more that I was going to create, however while looking through the Q&A I've found a reply that says "Google are discontinuing their Actions on Google service". Does this mean that what I am doing will not be available in the future?

I've tried and tested and not matter what I do, whenever I add {email_subject} into the webhook URL, it fails to make the call at all.If I change to email_subject (which it treats then as text of course), the call is made fine.Is there a limitation here?

I’m really glad I stumbled on Sequematic, I’ve been trying to find a service which allows complex variables for sometime. I have a water irrigation system via Smart Life and for ages I’ve been trying to find a way to prevent watering if rainfall has occurred.Currently, it’s only possible to check the past 3 hours rainfall. I have a couple of sequences that are run every morning. One updates a weather condition variable at 11:20 am and the other is set to run at 11:30 am and looks up the result of the first to determine its behaviour. I have noticed in the logs that since switching to daylight savings, the second sequence is now triggering incorrectly at 10:30 am, while the first is operating correctly at 11:20. This is not playing nicely with my logic.Please advise.

I've set up scenes in the Tuya Smart App on my phone, is there a way I can activate a scene from sequematic? I can see selecting certain things like switch on/off, brightness etc.I have an arlec ceiling fan with a light and it's only giving me options for lamp brightness, color and fan direction but not on/off or fan speeds. I thought perhaps activating a scene may be an option. This fan only shows those options on my homeassistant install so I think it's an issue at Tuya

Hello, I'm new with sequematic. I'm trying to control my LG air conditionner with an IR blaster working with tuya. I have created the device on tuya app and tested it in app : power on/off working, change temp, mode and fan :OK .I created a sequence triggered by custom webhook and next step Smart device. I read the documentation stating: "Just say Ok Google, talk to SEQUEmatic to get started"Since I'm in Mexico and my Google (Android) Phone uses spanish, how should I tell it to "Talk to SEQUEmatic" or to run something in SEQUEmatic? I am new to Sequematic but I can not work out how to get Sequematic to make a web request to my Raspberry Pi web server. My router reserves port 80 so I have put the webserver on port 81 and set the webhook as xxx.uk:81 but it does not seem to work. The Sequence Log on Sequematic says that the sequence has run, but the webserver log doesn't record any access. I can get it to work using IFTTT webhooks but not the webhooks without using IFTTT. Does it not work with Port Forwarding? Or

I'm hoping this forum can help. Is there a way to connect an alarm clock app with Philips Hue, to make a bulb light up 30 minutes before an alarm goes off? I am rebuilding my pool light - converting from a burned out halogen bulb to color LED. The only bulb that fits is a MiLight 2.4GHz. You can automate the MiLight with the MiBoxer WL-Box1. I have seen threads of people that have connected this to Tuya as a 2.4 GHz bridge but with limited capability. I wondered if anyone has had any experience with this before I buy the unit and try it.

i had another wild idea, that is i gues somewhat similar to the last one..right now i'm using webhooks to modify variables in combination with variable modified triggers on my sequences, this requires me to create the if clauses that check if my variable contains on/off etc.. and then the actions to set a certain device to a certain state (a seperate sequence is needed for each device), i've named the variables after my devices, so now i use for example: (sequematic-webhook)Livingroom light

do you think it would be possible to add the option to set a device to a "variable_name" state? right now, if we want to have the ability to change a light between 1-100% brightness, we would have to create 100 seperate if clauses that check the variable value, and 100 actions to set that device to a specific state. (which is just way to many)this one example below could replace all of those 200 steps (it can also be used to set the temp_value, and probably for many more things that i havn'

i have been using a sequence that makes a http request to toggle a "dark" variable on my phone, since a couple of days the http request doesn't work anymore, i am not sure why. in the sequence log it shows it has run the http request action correctly, but the trigger on my phone doesn't go off, and when i just copy the url and open it in a new tab, it says ok and does trigger on my phone.any clue on what's going on here or how to fix it? should i just recreate the sequence and see if that fixes

What's the best way to repeat a sequence? I'm trying to control an AC thermostat setting based on outdoor temperature. It's initially triggered by IFFFT when outdoor temp reaches a certain value and today's forecast high is above another certain value, Sequence A = set thermostat to T1, wait/pause for H hours, then check outdoor temp. Hi Derek,I think it would be helpfull for some situations if we could trigger a sequence everytime a variable increases or decreases, in addiction to the ones we already have. Good afternoon folks,I have a question regarding the random time trigger, im sorry if it was aked before but i couldnt find an answer.Does this trigger fire more then once within the set time frame? or only once per day?I want to turn the lights off and on at random times during the night when im not at home. Hi there!Just started using the site and I've found it incredibly helpful and started making recurring donations to the project!I've run into an issue with AutoHotKey where the JSON formatting for HTTP POST is a bit off. Currently it's only possible to test whether a Tuya device is on or off in a condition. Is it possible for a trigger step to be created that fires when a given device turns on or off? Otherwise, it's hard to synchronise Sequematic's idea of each device's state with its actual state.I can think of two workarounds if not. could you maybe add an option to add step above, instead of just below?and maybe an option to copy a step and paste it above or below any other step in the sequence, instead of "duplicate step" which always puts it under the orginal step and then we have to move it up/down 1 step at a time which takes quite a bit of time in a longer sequence. would be nice if this could be done ;)

Hi Derek, I think can be an improvement if we can add a starting time for the "every XX" time trigger, so we can select the exact momento to start counting down. For example, if i'm not wrong, If I want something to happen every o'clock hour, right now we have to create the sequence an activate it in the o'clock moment with a "every 60 minutes" trigger. With this idea, you can do it when you want but the trigger will start counting 60 minutes down starting at the time you set in

ok so what i dislike the most about the smart life app at the moment is that i cannot use being at home as a condition in my smarts...only entering or leaving an area, but i have found a solution someone else might find helpfull aswell, assuming you are using some sort of app to call a sequematic webhook to toggle an "at home" variable, and then having IF at home is true... set a light bulb to 100% temp_value - ELSE... set a light bulb to 99% temp_value, you can then use the light being at 99 or

Currently my sequence here sends 5 webhook calls to ifttt. Before their decision i had migrated most of what I automate outside of ifttt and stringify. I now use mostly google routines. Is there anyway to have google talk directly here to the many webhook calls? If not, what other webhook service is there? I've only been able to find ifttt and zapier. I've created 2 sequences, each is triggered by a custom webhook call.Each sequence turns a separate smartplug on for 1 minute.If I use the supplied url "https://sequematic.com/trigger-custom-webhook/x/x" to trigger sequence 1, it works. just thinking of a way to make the cloud cover evaluation at sunset more flexible, I was wondering if there was a way to consider cloud cover percentage at point of evaluation and times that by 0.6 (for up to 60 minutes delay) for the amount of minutes delaying running the sequence? Currently I have this in increments of 20% with a 10 minute change at each point.

They don't support ifttt, but have recently released an open API to allow 3rd party control.They do a wide range of LED light strips, which I use to backlight my TV's. Is there a "While" construct in the pipeline at all?. This would be pretty useful. I would like to pass a colour hue value to the color_data (_v2 in some instances) so that I can use one sequence for all colour changes in my code (it will be a broadband throughput gauge). Red = over 75% bandwidth in use, yellow is over 50%, green its less than 50, off will be less than 10% or something like that. Hi!I have a sequence where targetHomeTempChange should be updated based on todaysLowTempForecast and tomorrowsLowTempForecast. The sequence fires correctly, but it seems to skip the nested if statements. Observe that IFTTT weather forcast some times includes a "/" in the forcast text, like "AM Sunny/PM Showers" as this will be interpreted as 2 variables in the SEQ.webhook interface. I have found a solution to use geofencing in SEQUEmatic. My variable for checking if it's night and if people at home has stopped updating.It usually checked if anyone is at home, and if it's night. This would normally run 15 minutes before sunset, if no one is hope it would trigger when someone arrives home.This has worked successfully since implementation, but the last two days it has failed to run, despite nothing changing?

Hi again!As I now successfully get decimal values to variables from IFTTT, I'm having problems using them in sequences. I am trying to set a ventilation boost when shower humidity is higher than indoor humidity, but the sequence always exits at the comparison "if showerHumidity is above livingroomHumidity", even though shower humidity is higher.Ideally what I would want to compare (and what I originally tried) is "if showerHumidity is above livingroomHumidity + 5", so that a small difference won

I see someone has posted a similar question earlier in the year, but it looks like the error is still present. I cannot work around it because it is causing duplicate triggers for me.Most of the time the Sequematic related applets are labelled as skipped in the IFTTT log, but sometimes the same applets are labelled as failed. IFTTT retries the failed applets 6-7 minutes later, which does cause me a problem because my sequences will be re-run � resulting in unwanted events and activities. Do

Hi!I'm trying to update a variable with a temperature value from Netatmo via IFTTT webhooks. The value is a decimal value which I don't know how to format in the URL to get it to work. If I try it manually with an integer value or a random string value it works. The problem seems to be that the value (20 in the example string) would actually be output by IFTTT as "20.00", which if added to the end of the string, will cause an Not Found error to occur in sequematic.http://sequematic.com/variable-

Hi there. I've used both Stringify and Apilio in the past - but as the first was stopped and latter starts to charge, I'm looking into Sequematic to rebuild my automations.At the end of a sequence, i like to call an IFTTT webhook to send a notification that displays a text string coming from the sequence that is running. Just wondering how to ? (There is of course a workaround creating different webhooks for each message - but that's not very elegant.)

Whilst trying to setup and test new sequences/boolean, i find it quite repetitive to keep having to grab trigger urls and entering them to update the Boolean, is it possible to add a shortcut button to do this on the variables page?Also, it would be great to be able to simulate after dark/ daylight & sunrise/sunset for testing purposes.

It would be useful if you could check if a variable 'contains' a value. I'd like to use a variable to hold a string and do a check to see if a certain portion of the string is within the variable.

You can use the helper (see https://sequematic.com/helpers) to automatically create sequences to trigger things when someone comes/leaves home.The helper is set up based on counting the people at home.I have setup checking people at home differently. If I delete the ELSE part of an IF statement, the only way it can be added back is by recreating the IF statement (while not forgetting to remove all steps to outside the IF statement, or you will lose them).Feature request......or perhaps I just cannot find it...

Understand sequence will be active for 8 hrs without any command to interrupt and start again if required.Some time I need to cancel the sequence and restart fresh. I looks like some of my sequences run double and others not. I am unable to find the cause if I look at the content of the sequences. It doesn't seem to have any triggers that are fired twice…. Hey all,So I have a series of sequences that are controlling my AC at home. Two of them are monitoring a geofence perimeter and whether I am connected to my home wifi. Ok thanks, it just I have a sequence that turns on my hue lights when my arlo camera detects movement only when it is after dark. Then turns it off again in 5 mins. It worked well at 5:56pm (it was dark) then when I went out at 7:45pm. It successful triggered the first part of the sequence . i.e. IFTTT trigger from the arlo camera but did not get passed the “if it is dark” condition.I am a bit bewildered. On why all the sequence worked once, but not again.

Is it possible to assign a variable to another variable? I tried changing the variable to "=variableName", "=[variableName]", and "={variableName}" but none of them seem to work (the first two literally set the variable to the string "variableName" and "{variableName}" respectively, while the last one makes the variable empty. Assuming this is not possible at present, it would be very helpful to have this capability.

Finally I was able to set a timer on my Sonoff 4ch and make a channel work for a certain number of sec than off, so filling the gap Stringify timer function would left, when the service will be shut off. You have to follow precisely Docs section here on the website, anyway i have some suggestions:Use short English webhooks titles in IFTT or it won't workDon't use the seconds space in sequematic pause settings cause it won't work but fill the number of seconds under h:m:s space before
