Tuya smart device scene_data_v2 specifications? All questions

Hey y'all. I'm setting up voice controlled lighting using a pair of Monster Smart Neons and a Monster Smart Digit set. I'm able to set static colors for both sets of devices, but I'd like to be able to take advantage of the built in scenes function in Tuya devices for animated patterns.

I see that the Neon has a scene_data_v2 JSON field, and I've tried to play with that with my extremely rusty knowledge of JSON and the specs for color_data_v2, but I was wondering if there was documentation anywhere or anyone had already figured out the specs.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer to this. The specs can vary from device to device, and when SEQUEmatic retrieves the list of devices it also gets the specifications for the different properties. This is normally displayed under the value field when you're creating the step.

I noticed for scene_data_v2 this wasn't displaying so I've checked the logs and confirmed that the Tuya API isn't returning anything for this either. I'll have a look online for some more documentation, but the best I can suggest right now is to Google further (unless someone else can share some insights here).

Ah, alright. Thank you very much. It's possible it never got fully implemented, since not all of their devices with the same functionality have that field. I'll look and play around with it some more later and see if I can get anything to work.

The SEQUEmatic bot is still new and learning. If you don't get the answer you need, just ask to speak with Derek and your chat will be transferred.
