random time trigger All questions

Good afternoon folks,


I have a question regarding the random time trigger, im sorry if it was aked before but i couldnt find an answer.

Does this trigger fire more then once within the set time frame? or only once per day?

I want to turn the lights off and on at random times during the night when im not at home. Also in this case it would be helpfull to be able to set the number of times for the event to trigger during the time frame. 


Hopefully this makes sense

Good question! It will only trigger once per day.

If you wanted to have multiple random triggers at night you would need to create multiple sequences. Another option would be to have one sequence with a random time trigger, then use a couple of pauses of random duration in that sequence to trigger subsequent lights on.

Thanks Derek just checking how many times the trigger would fire. I got it work with various sequences and random pauses.
