Is it possible to check weather conditions for greater duration? All questions

I’m really glad I stumbled on Sequematic, I’ve been trying to find a service which allows complex variables for sometime. 

I have a water irrigation system via Smart Life and for ages I’ve been trying to find a way to prevent watering if rainfall has occurred.

Currently, it’s only possible to check the past 3 hours rainfall. Is there a way this could be increased? I’d like to be able to check if it has rained in the past 6+ hours (roughly, since the last watering).

Really appreciate any help!

Hi Arran, apologiies for not replying sooner, somehow I missed this post.

The rain data is coming from the Open Weather Map. I'd suggest you check their website (https://openweathermap.org/) and see if there's another API you can use. You can probably pair that with the custom webhook call to retrieve the data you need.
