Set a variable to the value of a given weather attribute? All questions

Is it possible to set a variable to the value of a given weather attribute? If not, that would be a helpful feature. I understand that this could be accomplished by using an outside service to call a variable webhook, but it would be great to be able to do it within the Sequematic environment.

If not, is there a good, inexpensive external service that anyone is aware of that has access to temperature data and could be used to set the value of a Sequematic variable hourly to the current temperature via a webhooks call? I think it could be done using IFTTT, but would require a Pro+ subscription.

Thanks!

Hi Beric, at the moment it's not possible.

SEQUEmatic gets weather data from the Open Weather Map. I'd suggest you check their website (https://openweathermap.org/) and see if there's another API you can use. You can probably pair that with the custom webhook call to retrieve the data you need and store it in a variable.

The SEQUEmatic bot is still new and learning. If you don't get the answer you need, just ask to speak with Derek and your chat will be transferred.
